Boontech was founded in 2001; started with Boontech Automatic Weighing & Drafting handlers, in combination with RFID Readers and Data Capture – Boontech Management Software for the cattle & sheep industries.

Since then Boontech has become the leader in the RFID Animal Identification industry. Boontech’s range of RFID Readers covers both HDX and FDX technology.

To ensure both high quality and user friendliness, all Boontech products have been tested by Feedlot Staff at its display centre in “Kinloch”, a farm located 4 Km from Kyneton, Victoria, Australia.

Boontech’s technical & development team are leaders in RFID technologies, Communication and Software Design. Boontech’s goal is to continue developing products using advantage technologies yet user friendly.

Today Boontech’s RFID Readers and Automatic Handling Equipments have been installed in Saleyards, Feedlots, Abattoirs and Producers throughout Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada (for details see “Installation” Field).
