Two Models: With Editing or Without the Editing


Boontech Codat ISO technology Dual Panel RFID reader consisting of 2 antennas 1.1m x 750mm in serial, reader module box and antenna amplifier box and connection cable. The antennas are connected by a 5m cable to the reader. The two antennas are positioned parallel to each other up to 1m apart. Ideal for installed at the loading/unloading ramp or raceway to read cattle on the move.

The construction material of the Antennas is PVC plastic, to guarantee strength and yet light weight for portability.
Communications from the readers will be through serial connection to computer system or scale indicator. Editing Model please see General Features.

The reader and editing boxes are rated at IP67 - weather resistant, the amplifier box is attached to the back of the antenna, the Editing box can be mounted near the operator side for easy operation. The reader has built in beeper sounds and LED lights indicating each successful read.

General Features



Description


Reader Components:
1) 2 serial antennas with amplifier box and connection cable.
2) 5-meter connection cable between each antenna and reader.
3) 1 Reader box with power supply and Booncard Editing unit attached.
4) 1 Booncard reader with USB connection to client PC.
5) Built in blue tooth connection

Technical Specifications:
1) Power requirement for Reader box: 110~240VAC 46-63Hz.
2) Reads ISO FDX-B and ISO HDX transponder in accordance with ISO Standard 11784.
3) Alley width for reading cattle up to 1meter depending on transponder quality
4) Plugs, connectors (except plug to mains power) and reader box enclosures feature IP 67 protection. Amplifier boxes and reader power supply boxes feature IP65 protection.



Starting the Reader
After the reader is started, if a transponder is inside the reading filed in between the antennas, the reader will read it and the yellow light will flash with a slight beeping sound when reading the transponder.
To turn off the reader, unplug the power cable from mains power.

Tuning the Antennas
All antennas will be tuned to its maximum performance during installation. After installation, the antennas normally do not require re-tuning unless the installation environment experienced major changes. We recommend that the antennas are tested for reading performance after installation and if the performance is up to the standard then re-tuning of the antennas is not necessary.

All recorded data can be downloaded through the Booncard reader by reading the Booncard or communication cable.

Memory Card
