Boontech 'Bar-Door' Abattoir Readers
Boontech Codat HDX technology 'Bar-Door' Abattoir RFID reader consisting of 2 vertical antennas 1200 mm x 400 mm, positioned 1000 mm apart, each antenna is attached to two 75mm diameter x 6 mm thickness stainless steel shafts, which allows for the carcase to pass between.
Both antennas are mounted parallel to each other, with the opening set at 1000 mm.
This will allow for any size carcases to pass between, with the larger carcases possibly brushing the antennas, which open to compensate the exit.
Once the carcase has passed the antennas, the exit point will close to around 600mm width to guarantee smaller carcases passing within the RF field.
The construction material of the Antennas is glass fibre and Kevlar, to guarantee maximum strength and hygiene.
Each antenna is mounted on 75mm x 4 mm stainless steel shaft, attached to a stainless steel 400 mm x 400mm floor base plate. These are dyne bolted to the concrete floor.
Communications from the readers will be serially connected to the abattoir computer system.
The control box that is rated at IP67 will also display a ' Red ' light for operation, and a 'Green ' light for successful transponder reading, viewable for kill floor staff.
